I hope I don't come off as a jerk on this, but I don't see how this is fair. There has been no prior rule on this, and creating a rule until we get a ruling doesn't make so much sense to me. Especially when it benefits the person who is fighting for the ruling. In terms of fairness, I see either letting those offboard players play or pausing the game completely. To be perfectly honest, I played the way I did because I saw no rule, and figured I could continue on after I took myself out. I had asked long ago what the rules are on those that go to zero, and never heard a response. So I figured, no rule means no rule against it, and went about it the way I did. And it totally makes sense, as you need people at the end to keep it from being a stalemate. I'm wanting to be fair about this too, so if the weight of the gameplayers is against me, I'll concede, but time is ticking on this game, and people that could benefit from me being able to play are being affected. So that's why I don't quite feel it fair that I have to wait for a rule that is made up mid-game that is waiting for confirmation. Am I completely off on this, or do you see the point I'm raising?
