*Earthy naps*.... ....huh did someone say something? I just had the strangest dream - I think it was a dream. I was in a cyberland & there was a big battle about something...the last thing I remember was some guy named Mhoram releasing me of some responsibility I had agreed to in this cyberland....what a premise for a fantasy series...
I'll take a couple of the later chapters - never looked to see that there are 25 chapters I can't stop reading - already 1/2 way thru TPTP
Thanks for the snoozer emoticon Vain - it's awesome!!!

Re: Step up to the Plate - 22 out of 25 taken :)
Erm ... aah ...
It appears I've made a boo-boo ... ... I'm attending a medieval recreation event on the weekend 15th - 17th November, and there are no computers in the venue, so I won't be able to manage Chpts 15 and 16 as I said. Sorry
I WILL give Ch 23 and 24 a go, though, as well as Gildenfire. I'm not going anywhere else this winter.
Am I right in thinking Ch 23 & 24 will be on December 13? That would make Ch 25 and Intro to TIW on the 20th? and Gildenfire the week after that?

I should check in on this thread more often! Thanks for my sleepy friend, Vain! Guess I was when I should've been paying attention....
I would do those chapters but I too have a commitment on the 16th which starts relatively early in the morning. Rats! Fear not, Michael -- I'm sure someone will bail you out.

OK. I'll be changing places with Michael Giantfriend
I'm not too sure about the dates over the festive season. It may well be that it's better to continue after the holidays. That's just my thinking on the subject - anybody else have an alternative?
As for Gildenfire - Doesn't it fit in better after TIW ?
And do tell more about this medieval recreation event - I'm jealous

No problemo. I can do that.Vain wrote:OK. I'll be changing places with Michael Giantfriend
I would have thought it would fit in quite nicely just after "Runnik's Tale" - it does, after all, give an alternative view of what happens to the mission to Seareach until just after the last attack of the Lurker. As for Gildenfire - Doesn't it fit in better after TIW ?
It's a "Kingdom-Level" event in the Society for Creative Anachronisms (SCA) - www.sca.org Well, it's actually a cleverly disguised 3-day drinking sesh! Seriously, it's gonna be a laugh. There's "classes" on such things as medieval musical notation , combat archery rules , court etiquette and building a trebuchet (although I don't think we'll be hurling any cows or giant wooden rabbits...) There's also a theoretical class in making Mead and a class in making your own drinking horn! Who wants to be Eric the Viking, then? And do tell more about this medieval recreation event - I'm jealous
