AVP - requiem

Post by Usivius »

OK, I never saw the first one, mainly because it was panned as shite from everyone.
But now we have a new one, and it's not PG13 (or its equivalent), it's frik'n "R".
Now we're talking.

Here is the link to a fairly graphic trailer...

I might actually check this one out .. even though I always want the ailen to kick that silly Predator's butt...

hehehe

I'm cautiously optimistic. AvP was junk, even with the Lance Henrikson cameo. It sounds like they're doing this one justice, even though they're trampling on the Alien cannon a bit.

I'll give it a shot, but I'd far prefer a proper sequel to Aliens, since I thought Alien3 was weak, and Alien:Resurrection was garbage.

It's looks great, but who wants to be that the military want to use the aliens or predators for research?

Didn't catch AVP:R at the theater but finally rented it over the weekend. I was a little surprised at the fact that it didn't suck as much as I expected. Not great. Different than the first AVP but not by all that much. Many familiar chills and thrills. I don't see a need for a third film. Again, not great but worth a rent if you have enjoyed either of these franchises at all.
