Marathon des sables, now this is something I've got to do!

Post by Marv »

The Marathon des Sables (MDS) (Marathon of the Sands) is a six-day, 254 km (156 mi) ultramarathon, which is an equivalent to six regular marathons. The longest single stage is 84 km (52 mi) long.

The event is held every year in the southern Moroccan desert. It is considered the toughest foot race on Earth. The first event of the Marathon started in 1986.

I'm gonna have to get a full marathon under my belt first but this is now my long term goal. Ante up!

Anyone else?
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

First up I'm going to do the Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii. I simply cannot imagine running 52 miles in the mother****ing sand.
