Here is the trailer from youtube :

I absolutely loved this cartoon when I was growing up.

I will have high hopes here...high hopes indeed.

Yep...what would Speed Racer be without Racer X???

I just gave my 6 year old a crash course on Speed Racer...he's ready!

Did you at least get a look at the Mach 5?

Nope...thanks for posting.

I don't even bother with youtube links anymore. Being on dial-up just...well trying to watch videos on dial-up is a lesson in frustration.

I had really high hopes for this until I saw who was directing it.

I'll wait 'till it comes out on cable.

Yeah, cause every other movie based on a cheap cartoon from the 60s has been steller...

Come to think of it, I might watch a Johney Quest movie.

Oh G-ds...

Y'all are only proving dAN's point.

OK...so I am a hippocrit.

At least when it comes to 60's animated adventure series.

I really, really liked Hajii as a kid...

Johnny...pheh.

Yeah, but you keep going back, hoping for lightning in a bottle.

Besides, Speed Racer was awesome, and the Mach 5 is the coolest car ever.

...hoping Trixie is not such an airhead...

Yeah, she was smart.

But such an overall airhead.

I don't know if any of you watched "Freakazoid", but I dug it up a few months ago, and one of the eps has a *great* Jonny Quest Parody.
