What's Your Ringtone?

Post by Sunbaneglasses »

Mine is the Dr. Who theme, previously it was the Transformers Gen 1 theme song. When my phone rings it is like a siren announcing "Paul is a dork".

I don't have a cell phone, but I set mine to be the tetris theme song on my friends phones, when I call them.

Mine plays a few songs:

When my wife calls, I hear U2 "Mysterious Ways"
When it's my mother-in-law, I hear the Imperial March from SW-IV
For everyone else, I hear the 'cool shoe-shine' bit from the Gorillaz "19-2000"

Mine's now set to the Palm default ringer, as I don't want a repeat of the Team America theme tune/important meeting incident.

Although that doesn't even compare to my friend's phone which gave a spirited rendition of 'Unclef****er' while he was picking his son up from nursery

Mine is a generic ring, except for when my ex-wife calls....Then it's the theme from Jaws.

That makes three of us. Mine are generic ringtones that came with the phone -- tho I do have separate ones for "family" and "friends." "Family" is kinda upbeat and "friends" is kinda jazzy. But still, they're generic.

My stupid Siemens phone has all kinds of daft melodies but no normal ringing sounds, so I downloaded an old-fashioned telephone sound and put it on my phone.

Put me down as another generic. But I chose the big fanfare thingy tone so as to be announcing the arrival of a kingly call. So far, I've been disappointed each and every time.

Poor Cag!

SJ: My old Nokia phone had an actual ringing-type ringtone. This bloody Samsung, alas, does not. And I am too cheap to download anything else....
