..the last couple of winters he got every cold flu and ear/throat infection going around.
Last Winter he had pnumonia....twice.
This year, all I actually did was to rub Vicks ofhis back and chest, and spray salt water up his nose every night.
He's done quite well (coincidence maybe...who knows?)
Next month, he's slated to get his Tonsils, and Adnoids out, and tubes put in his ears.
Seems like a lot to me!!

Sorry you're sick as well, hope you didn't catch it from me.Loremaster wrote: I'm sick, too.Great idea about the steam bath and massage!

Has anyone seen my keys?
Poor baby! That is a lot, but kids are remarkably resillent, and I'm sure that after he heals up, he will feel much better, and you will be much relieved.drew wrote:..the last couple of winters he got every cold flu and ear/throat infection going around.

But since we're in the same boat, I'll scratch yours if you'll scatch mine.....metaphorically anyway, I doubt that spending an entire day on a plane would make either of us feel better, but it's the thought that counts right?

I just got back from the city, and I am feeling incredibly nauseous. I've been like this for three weeks.

Against my better judgment, I'm off to buy Indian. I realise spicy food and nausea aren't a good mix, but I hope it will work this time. Plus, I love Indian food.
Back later!

malik jr had to have all that done too, but i wouldn't let the doctor take out malik jr's tonsils. just a personal decision. but after he had the adenoids removed and tubes put in, he was like a different kid! he felt so much better and i almost cried when he heard the dryer running for the first time with his tubes in...he'd never heard that sound before. i hope your little one feels better soon.drew wrote:..the last couple of winters he got every cold flu and ear/throat infection going around.

Today I feel pissy.
I didn't sleep much last night - insomnia related. Then got up early this am to shovel snow before work. The meterologist had us in a winter storm warning - supposed to get 3-5 inches. We got about 0.5 inch. (I recognize meterology isn't an exact science, but that seems pretty different...sheesh
) Would have been happy with the lack of snow, except, once again, couldn't get back to sleep, probably cause I was feeling pissy.
Then work has just been kicking my butt today. Everything is becoming far more complicated than it was supposed to be or needed to be. And there's a particular co-worker who couldn't be making my day worse if she tried. Grrrr
At least it's Friday and I don't work over this weekend, so there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

I feel pretty good. It's friday and that makes me happy.

Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....
