When the man with a 45 meets the man with a rifle, you said the man with a pistol is a dead man. Let's see if it's true.

Xar, hope you have a nice trip to London, and best of luck with the Chinese restaurants.

Thanks :D Chinese restaurants are a dime a dozen nowadays, though - and if I want to try Asian food, I'm surrounded by Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Indian restaurants around here, so I think I'll just stick with normal food :P

If I do make it, must remember to bring some sort of nose plugs! Last time the soot/dirt/dust/whatever in the Underground hung around for weeks in my sinuses. Yucky!

yeah, it'll do that. It's one of the things that convinced me not to move to London. Plus the expense. Plus the fact that you can be on the tube for 45 minutes and still seem to be on the same street when you emerge.

The London Underground's nasal soot is quite unpleasant.

Try working in it! My mom used to be a tube driver and she would come home with this horrible fine black soot collected everywhere.

London does have its plus points though...I can't quite think of any right now but they do exsist ;)

I do love Camden. I spend quite a bit of time there when I get the chance. I was upset to hear about the fire the other night.
