Final Fanasty - Does anyone dislike it?
I like the first couple, than they just got annoying. They're practically the same game over and over again. Lame if you ask me.

Until xmas I can't say much for FFVII, but for the others...
The series as a whole is just a big group of games with excellant gameplay, that are very enjoyable - they appeal in the way the early video games always did, in that even if they were all the same they were challenging and addictive.
Each game brings its own little things into it - each game has different ways of learning skills, etc.
-The first three were a little disappointing, since they had very little in the way of plot...
-IV was the first one to have a real plot, although a little complex, and that game had a habit of killing people off.
-V was a very good game (for its time, that is)
-I haven't played VI or VII yet...
-VIII was amazing. Out of all the games this was my favourite. Many people criticise it for being very different from previous FFs, but I thought the plot was much fuller, the characters more real, and the gameplay was as good as ever.
-IX was very good, almost as good as VIII, but it seemed to be lacking something... brilliant game, though.
-X was a breakthrough - good plot, very different style for battles and advancing characters.
Overall, I would say that the ones from VII onwards had a combination of good gameplay, good plot, good characters.... Early games had great gameplay, but lacked in other areas, making them just that little bit less interesting.
I guess I like FFs because a good FF is like a good book (in terms of the story, that is)...

*Sigh* i thought we were past this...
But the fact is whenever a games is released onto both consoles, the X-box version is always better than the Playstation two and one.
