Today's most interesting thing for me was having a discussion on a hunch with the Pantheon AllFather. Seeing as the hunch has absolutely nothing to back it up, most likely I am dead wrong, but it is fun to speculate.

If you've learned something, then there was another good reason for my little outing ;)

Going back to when Hyperception tossed a crockpot of mine out our car window, a year and five months later I finally have the replacement of my dreams.

I have an exciting day of calorie restriction and an evening of exercise planned. Oh well, my sacrifice now will pay off later this weekend when I allow myself my one night of a few beers.

And with a lower body weight, you'll become a cheaper drunk. BONUS! :)

Oh yea, I forgot about the excitement of hanging out with a calorie restricted husband who is also an exercise mad-man. I already feel guilty for sitting on my ass playing games. :P

Ki, Malik - are you two this funny in person, too?

Today I hung a painting in my son's room.

He's been real into learning about the solar system, so when my wife found a cartoonish painting of the solar system at Target the other day, she bought it for him, and we hung it today. Of course, he loves it, and thinks it's the coolest thing in the world. It didn't take him long, however to notice that the planets were in the wrong order. The planets are labeled, and while he can't read yet, he does notice what letter words start with. So he figured out that Neptune and Uranus were in the wrong order.

I didn't really look closely at it, but I totally missed it until he pointed it out.

The most interesting part of my day was listening to a story related over lunch. In this true-life tale, a woman fell, impaling herself on a sharp piece of metal, which sliced her femoral artery open. She was able to pull it out, and crawled to her cell phone and was able to dial her husband's cell number. By a stroke of luck, he was almost home (much earlier than expected). She was unable to talk to him, but husband could hear her moan and their dogs bark. The husband rushed home, came in, and saw his wife lying on floor looking as if she had been shot. By the time the ambulance came she had no pulse. The ambulance crew pumped in three bags of fluid before they were able to get a pulse on her. She was being released from the hospital today.

The scary thing was that if her husband had been 5 minutes later getting home she would have died from hemorrhage. 8O

*apologizing for the double post*

Barring unforeseen circumstances, my Pantheon Turn 4 Submittal is ready to go (I think).

And I am eagerly anticipating my Borderlands Turn 8 Report tonight, even though I strongly suspect my faction is starving. Should it not arrive before bedtime...it may be another all nighter.

Busy day: it's Lost night!! And since last week's was an especially good one, we'll be watching the rerun, too. That's two hours of our evening spoken for. In addition, my 7yr-old has a skating party to go to that will end right before it comes on. That barely gives us enough time to race home. So fitting in homework, dinner, and my workout is going to be tough. Oh, and I have to go shopping for my one allotted "Lost beer." I'm thinking this one: www.ratebeer.com/beer/double-bastard-ale/11243/
