I'm eating my Mediterranean pizza, with no cucumbers. And I used garlic breadsticks to make the crust, so it's heavily garlicked. And I put some peanut butter cookies in the oven.I shall be eating one of those momentarily. :D

I found a recipe on weightwatchers.com this week for slow-cooker ropa vieja, so I decided to try making it.

The original recipe makes 12 servings 8O , so I cut it in half. Which is a good thing, because it calls for flank steak, which Giant was selling for a price about equivalent to that of gold. 8O 8O

Anyhow, I started it at suppertime, duh, so it's done now, at 12:30am, duh.

It's okay, but only okay. I'll have to look at a normal recipe for ropa vieja and see what they did to change it.

Not eating anything yet, but I'm having one of those moments where I'm craving something and I don't know what it is. I hate that.
Has anyone seen my keys?

Me too!

Right now: a red d'Anjou pear.

Wait: I just looked at some of the previous posts. Lyr said she had peanut butter cookies in the oven and would be eating *one* shortly. How do you DO that? How do you stop at one??

A chocolate rabbit head. It's very easy to stop at one chocolate rabbit head, because I don't have anymore.

Cause they were huge? And incredibly bad for me? :P Actually, if I put them out if sight, it usually works for me. :D

And now I am craving cookies. :P

Me too! Imagine that!

See, the problem for me would be getting them off the pan...onto the cooling rack...and then into the closed, out-of-sight container...without them all making a detour into my stomach. No matter how big they were. Sigh. Back to the "who's trying to lose weight" thread for me, I guess.... ;)
