Well lets try and think about this intelligently.

either the god has people scared. in which case its probably Ezt or they have managed to piss alot of people off. I myself have managed to do that as have a few others

so take a good hard look at your god and wonder if you think you could have managed to make people that angry

Even losing 10k followers would not threaten Ezt's existence, so I think it's one of the rest of us.

Maybe it's me? And because of a magical warp portal hidden on Enstrom, I've already lost thousands of followers I haven't even gotten the time to recruit yet? They probably bought all of their clothes on credit in the future, too, so my treasury and contentment will also be negative. That's okay; with no limit to the deficit, I just have to keep from going back up to death at zero.

Hmmm. Makes me wonder if the Goddess of Fate submits no orders, preferring to leave things to fate instead.

Also, I bet all the players with less than 10,000 followers are actually pretty pleased about that right now.

An interesting thought, but no I do not. Choice - mine, yours, everyone else's - plays too large a part in Fate for me to remain silent and simply let things happen.

Well, here's another hint... the deity who was on the brink of destruction had a so-so turn, but ironically enough, a new bunch of fanatics popping up among his/her people has boosted the faith enough that he/she is no longer in immediate danger, although seriously weakened. However, I still have some players to process, so who knows who else took a stab at this deity...

You're only supposed to *measure* time (the one commodity we are all given in equal doses).

Completely off topic, though: in the unlikely event that you stumble upon a colony of moon-worshipping weredolphins in awhile (around, say, turn 9), would you be willing to split it with me? :gandalf:

Oh, I can hurry up - but then I'll tell everybody it's because you asked for it, and I'm fairly sure there'd be a good number of pissed-off players knocking at your door in a matter of hours :P This is a complex turn - lots of backstabbing and surprise attacks, as well as actions that turned not quite as expected (and the usual complement of crusades and brigands, just to add spice to the whole thing).
