Most of the Krispy Kremes around here have gone out of business. I'm a Dunkin' Doughnut man myself (their black raspberries are out of this world) besides KKs make my teeth ring.

I prefer Dunkin'...unless the "Hot Donuts Now" light is on!

hmm...

I wonder if Dunkin is doing the same, and hasn't promoted it as much.

Driving down the road and seeing the "Hot now" sign lit up at KK will literally make me slam on the breaks. :-)

Tim's (Tim Hortons) used to have good Donuts; when they cooked them in each individual store.
NOW they are baked in central locations, and driven to the individual stores.

The Walnut Crunches, that used to be my fav, have shrunk, and are now soggy. The Honey Crueller, is my new fav, but its not THAT good...again, its soggy.

Now Robbins OTOH, even though there is one about one Robbins to ten Tims...is WAY better with their donuts.

Funny thing about Tims:
The coffee really isn't that good...and nearly EVERYONE orders it as a Double/double...it's actually kind of funny standing in line, hearing everyone saying,
"Large Double double"
"Large double double please"
"Large double double"
"I'll have a large double double"

"DOuble DOuble" is actually now listed in Canadian Dictionaries, and encyclopedias.

Anyways....everyone orders their coffee with two creams and two sugars, and everyone THINKS they love Tim's coffee...but only because it's so sweet and creamy.

They add the cream and sweetner for you?
I know Dunkins used to do that, but we don't have a counter Dunkins anymore, and I usually get a milk chug instead when I go there.

What do you order if you want double cream/single Splenda?

LOL, sarge.
I started this one before I saw TOM's in The Galley.
I don't have powers to move a thread from here to there...

Yeah, TIm's adds the Cream and sugar for you...they're sized according to the cup size...for example, a medium double/double tastes just as sweet and creamy as an extra large double/double.

Options for whitener are Cream or milk.
Options for sweetener are sugar or sugar twin.

Double double with twin, is how you would order your coffee.
