Lord Mhoram's Victory Pg1

Post by Kevin164 »

Oy, does my fingers hurt. This image is actually done on a stock comic book layout paper. So its actual size is huge. A million little cross hatchings went into this one, LOL.
If for some reason you can't see it, I loaded it onto the Kevin's Watch album for posterity. I'll be adding color and effects and what not when I get blood back into my arms. It's 3MBs, so It might lag a little in loading off the link.

Page 2 is coming shortly where Lord Mhoram deals with Santa's little helper, Blueberry style (Bug's Life ref#345)

Great picture! Thanks for sharing.

As an aside, I read the thread title as "Lord Mhoram's Victory Party" which initally led me to expect a slightly different kind of picture.

If I recall correctly, this whole exercise was proposed by Kevin164 to expand his storyboard portfolio so he can present his talent to potential employers...

But seriously Kev: I see urviles in the front. I see a Giant with a frag of the Stone. Right behind him I see a row of waste-high-on-the-Giant guys who are probably cavewights. But then I see in the back a bunch of other warped Giants? Who do those represent?

The illearth stone did generally warp and disfigure plently of creatures, so they don't have to bee anything in particular I suppose. Either way, it's still a great drawing.

Didn't they raise a bunch of dead creatures from out of the ground with the stone? Or was that later or earlier? Couldn't those extra Giant-sized creatures be zombie Giants? Whoa, what a thought.............
Heard my ears aright? Did not the gaddhi grant me this glaive?
