Do you pee in the shower?

Post by Cagliostro »

C'mon....be honest. I really want to know.

There was some local loony living in Wichita Kansas that died recently, and one of his great claim to fames was that he never peed in the shower. It sparked a discussion, and I'm curious.

Of course I do. Why the Hell wouldn't you?

I would advise against doing #2 in the shower.

I absolutely do if need requires. Of course, I do try to aim for the drain...

I probably would if I had no other choice, but that's unlikely to arise. I'm quite fastidious, so I find the idea a little repellant.

Well yeah, of course you aim for the drain.

But why get out of the shower to pee? You're basically standing in a big one, and the water will immediately wash your bidness down the drain. It's not like you're gonna be standing in a pool of pee.

And for God's sake, have the common courtesy not to do it when there's someone else in there with you, unless you've cleared it before hand.

OOooh!..you mean pee While you're in the shower..well thats different. But..nope,,still don't do it. And if there is some one else in there with me..chances are..same tool, different mission...or no mission at all..like my kidneys and blatter,,generally, i take care of that before. Now..clearing my sinuses,,yea,,snort a handfull of warm water and pow zoom. That I have to do in the shower. I always rinse the walls and doors off anyway.

I don't make it a point to, but if the need arises I let it rip. As Cail said, no #2 because the drain is not quite large enough to act as a log flume.

A strange claim to fame.

I don't think I've done it more than once or twice. I take care of that before I shower.

Men who don't pee in the shower probably close the bathroom door when they're home alone.

As stated earlier I am in the camp that takes care of business before stepping into the shower therefore it rarely if ever comes up.
However there were a couple of times when I was a kid....

Don't get me wrong, I take care of it beforehand too, but sometimes you get sidetracked before you actually get in the shower, and an overabundance of Maxwell House begins working on the tiny little sphincter clamping the urethra shut.

I aim for the drain, and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

Sometimes I forget to close it when company's over.

And to answer the question, hells yes. I mean, if the chamber music or checking the temp inspire the urge, then no. But otherwise... let it flow.

In the house I grew up in we ran off a well. The well didn't work all that... well after a while. We redug it a couple times, but... I can tell you, being blasted by silt while you're taking a shower isn't fun. As a result, there was no way in hell you could flush the toilet before taking a shower. You had to economize.

Agreed. When I was in college I lived in a dormitory that had communal showers. . . there were dividers and curtains, but it was all the same floor. One day I was showering and the girl next to me let it go, and it was all I could do to not climb the wall! Think of the splatter effect! 8O

Anyhow, I have an ingrained morning routine that dictates toilet, then shower, so I've never really needed to.

Totally different for women. I completely understand if you won't.

The shower water takes a while to warm up, so I generally have plenty of time before the shower. Peeing in showers is gross. I'm so glad my dorms have walls between the showers, so I don't have to worry about what Wyldewode had to go through.
