Auburn would be better off if they just practiced running the option with Kodi Burns all week, we have the talent for that but not the spread.I tell ya what...I ain't so confident going into Auburn next week. We still have a big question mark at QB. North Texas and Appalachian State at home are hell of a whole lot different than Auburn on the road.
If we can go into Auburn and come away with a win...no matter what the scenario...I will consider that very good fortune indeed.
For a QB to start his very first SEC game on the road against Auburn is going to be one hell of a learning curve. If LSU can somehow pull this one out, at least there will be a level of confidence at the QB position now where there is currently a whole lot of ambiguity.

After a woefully unimpressive first half, Jared Lee came into the game in the second half and absolutely got that LSU offense rolling and on track against a very strong Auburn defense.
That was a major test for a team that had yet to had been tested in this young season.

I don't feel so bad after the loss to LSU. On the upside I now think that Auburn can muster enough offense to be competitive with everyone on the schedule, which is something that I did not believe was possible until this game. Congrats Jelerak! And watch out Don, Auburn is going to shut Arian Foster down and intercept the ball 6 times.
