I have no problem with the historical Saint Nicholas, and would educate my hypothetical children about him and such. I'm a "live and let live" kind of person, so I'd make sure that they knew santa wasn't a topic to discuss with other kids. :P

I think it's clear that Christmas and Santa are more important to people who have families. Or maybe I should qualify that statement: more important to people who have families that they can actually stand to hang around with. :P
