A copy was recently auctioned off for $4 million. When it was supposed to be a limited edition of 7, with 6 belonging to the Rowlings family.

Now it's being published. Man, I'd be mad. I paid $15 per kid for the Hannah Montana movie that was supposed to be in theatres "one week only", then afterwards they changed their minds, and that made me mad. How mad would I be if I paid 4 gigabucks?

Yes, she hand-wrote and illustrated it. Also, it appears (from a blurb on the cover) that all proceeds from this printing go to another charity. I'm pretty cool with this.

Anywho, I gave two of these as gifts, but did not get one for myself. Anyone get one and read it yet?

Actually Im looking too get it soon , there are supposed to be notes from Dumbledore through the book so that interests me Ill let u know when I get it.

I've read it (got it for my birthday) and was quite pleased. They are akin to Aesop's Fables in many ways, while Dumbledore's commentary is both insightful and funny.
