Suddenly Up-and-Moving

Post by Reisheiruhime »

i'm getting the hell out of here... indeed, i'm moving to arizona this monday... holy crap, it's tomorrow now... so, does anyone know exactly what part of albequerque our beloved god-figure lives in? (sit back down, danlo, i can find u on mapquest, i meant SRD) i wanna drive by and go "whoa. that was awesome." and then keep driving because i could never forgive myself if he was working on AATE or TLD and i interrupted him...

so yeah. arizona. no more drippy sinuses. and now i'll have trashmen! they'll take away my trash for me? AWESOME. this is the first time i've ever been to a big city. like, i've ridden through atlanta, but other than that, never. like, augusta is huge to me. athens is huge to me! LF can probably tell you how pitiful this is. he'll probably enjoy it too, lol...

we're (we being me and this amazing guy i love named Trae) probably going to stop in alabama and tie the knot. ...maybe not yet. hopefully we won't run out of honeybuns and faygo between here and getting through there, so we won't have to stop, and he won't be reminded, "hey, we could totally get away with getting married... look, that dog has a higher IQ than both the guys in that truck! let's duck behind the dash and giggle at them..." i wanna have the pretty desert wedding, resplendent with sand everywhere and the radiation seeping into every pore and the sun slowly but surely turning us into jerky... it'll be great! :) the oddest things please me.

so yeah. if any of you live near maricopa - or god forbid, IN maricopa - HIDE. NOW. There will be celebration, and yes, I have a permit to dance on that. 8O So there.

I think both! London makes Atlanta look like a quaint toy. Congrats on your pilgrimage and be safe. Make sure to stockpile on weapons and train yourself in survival before 2014, when the economy creates a climate similar to Mexico's biker gangs and all our cities are reminiscent of Calcutta.

...what a cheery picture you paint! i rather like calcutta. it sounds like there might be pirates there. the influence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster would be great! noodles, eyerywhere! we have these little dudes riding trikes with baskets on the back to pick up our trash every morning. well, not OURS... you have to live in town for that. but i wonder, would these trikers form gangs in your post-apocolyptic madhouse?

TF, cool! Welcome to the desert Southwest! I have never been to Maricopa, that I remember, but Arizona is beautiful (go see the Grand Canyon if you've never been ASAP). It will be a big change from Georgia, but you can't beat the sunsets around here - well with a big f-in stick! Congrats on the pending nuptials!
What are you looking at?

Oh yeah! There's biker gangs in Mexico running amok, and if our economy gets like theirs it's actually been discussed as a possibility... Of course, this is all dependent on us surviving the Maya Calendar, when it runs out in 2012. Things are already looking like spinning plates, so I highly doubt that. Too bad, because I was wondering what this broken world will look like when we compound the sudden loss of oil around 2050. Hopefully they will put restrictions on nukes and go to back to wide open warfare over simple things like raw materials and resources; no more politicking or alliances--just, we need your damn oil, we're annihilating your people. Hopefully they'll recruit me to fight, even though I'll be an old man... It will be a grand time, when man is finally back to his basics...what comes after post-modernism's lack of center? The primal center, the full circle.

Maricopa.....Maricopa??. Maricopa the village,, or Maricopa the county?......WARNING..the State has gone Speed Limit Enforcement Crazy!!!...and the town of Maricopa has some of the best small town mentality enforcing cops..Stay within the speed limits and you will be okay..otherwise,,the Photo Radar will get you...Seriously..Photo Radar is all over the place...State Cops have been outsourced to a freekin machine.

Let me know when you all get settled in..We Zonies should have a Zonie Fest sometime.

Have a good road trip.

foulie... that's just weird. 8O such a cheery outlook you have...

zen... thank u for the welcome! I'll try not to leave sporks or other plastic cutlery in your yard, if i go by your yard at any point... we're probably going to go to the grand canyon A LOT... "oh, let's go see the grand canyon!" "we went last week!" "so? family bonding time, family bonding time, family bonding time, krystal get rachel a vodka she's foaming at the mouth again, let's go see the grand canyon, whee!"

lurch... OMG thank u for that... my driver has a lead foot when it comes to the corsica... he says it's a "granny car, so we're not going as fast as the speedometer says" which i think is malarky, since the interstate speed-checker thingy said we were going exactly how fast the speedometer said, but i'm a girl, so what do i know about cars (or engines or u-joints or transmissions or radiators or carborators or air compressors or...*muted grumbling* never mind that he taught me everything i know, anyway... )

and danlo, i pm'ed u with my craziness... and u answered, and i replied, and in the time i've been mulling over this u've probably replied again, so i'm gonna go check that now...

like 9 hours to go! i'm more hyper than a coke whore inside a pyxie stik!

Good luck, TF! Sunny Arizona, eh.

I was standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona and such a fine sight to see...

Take it easy, TF.
