Seeing how Donadson has already abandoned the trilogy concept... if he would just agree to publish in smaller pieces.... we could have Against All already.... and Things Ending could be only a year away.
All in favour??

Unless The Last Dark comes out in three volumes!

email from Matthew Venzon
Hey guys. For what it's worth (not much), I thought I'd share an email I got in response to my inquiry on the status of AATE. I'll just copy and paste it:
Unfortunately, I don't have any concrete information for you. I can tell you with certainty that it won't be published before August 2010, just because our lists up until that point are already finalized.
Sorry I can't be more helpful --

So, at least another year before it hits the shelves (sigh...)

A month early! That'd be terrific!!!! (Orlion, it'd be TWO months early if released in August)
It'll depend on how long it takes SRD's editors to read the second draft and how extensive their revision suggestions are... but they diffinitely seem thus far to be committed to publishing these books by the projected dates, which for the remaining books would be October of 2010 and 2013.
I'm hoping for a bone to be thrown at the fans as far as plot is concerned sometime in late January... in the form of a trailer...that would help ease the pain of the remaining ten month wait.
