I was watching a guy play Enter the Matrix and there were some very interesting developments, including a couple real cinematic scenes that weren't in the movie... for instance, Niobe also gets tested by Seraphim. Once my registration goes through (when the heck did gamespot start doing that?! ), I'll check out the walkthru and let you guys know what else is up.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I've played and solved the entire game playing as "Ghost" who is Niobe's asscoiate. Nothing earth shattering in the game save for some mention of Neo and Trinity's child being a saviour in the future. I'll see if I can find the actual dialogue.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. What other real cinematic scenes?
I have no idea what you mean. I'm not very game-savy.Caer Sylvanus wrote:Once my registration goes through (when the heck did gamespot start doing that?! ), I'll check out the walkthru and let you guys know what else is up.
Brinn, more info?? I don't have $50 to get it.

Time to revive this topic....
I just saw "Kill Bill" last weekend and aside from being a very entertaining movie (very violent...typical Tarantino) the experience was magnified by two outstanding previews. One for the Matrix Revolutions and one for Return of the King. I was so excited I almost shit my pants
(Pardon the language)!
Anyway, in the preview they show the following scene...
The preview was spectacular. They showed the machines breaching Zion and the Mech-warrior-like armor fighting them as they flood in. WOW!!!! Great stuff...Can't wait.

Spoiler
They show a scene where Neo confronts what I suspect is the real world machine that was represented by the Architect in the Matrix world. Neo is explaining that the machines have lost control of Agent Smith and that Smith now threatens both the real world and the machine world. I believe he is proposing an alliance between the humans and the machines.
If this is true I can't wait to see Neo and the Machines fighting Smith.

I finally got a chance to watch Reloaded tonight (both of my kids now have the flu and are confined to bed
, so it was a dvd night!). The action scenes were first rate...and I've never seen chocolate cake have quite that effect on anyone before.
I had to keep stopping the dvd and explaining to my husband what was going on, though. I even had to show him bits of the Matrix and the Animatrix...but I think he finally "gets" it now -- and he even wants to go see part 3.
(that, TOTK, and Master and Commander are ones we both want to see if we can find the time).

Good things in this movie: Kick ass highway scene, beautiful visuals, awesome fight by stairway, cool ghost twins, and Monica Belucci. Bad things: the rest.
