Sci Fi: Star Wars, Fifth Element
Horror: Exorcist, Exorcist III, Creepshow
Western: Straight To Hell (well, it's kind of a western), Tombstone
Fantasy: LOTR flicks
Comedy: Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, Fear of a Black Hat, Joe Vs. The Volcano
Drama: The Fisher King
Mystery: Clue
Mob/gangs: Not fond of the genre, so the closest I can find is Leon: The Professional and Tarantino's first two flicks. And Johnny Dangerously.
Sports: Bend it Like Beckham, Bad News Bears
Musical: Singing In the Rain, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Jesus Christ Superstar
Animation: Watership Down, Spirited Away
Comedy Animation: Shrek 1 & 2
Stand-up: Give me about any George Carlin or Richard Pryor and I'll be happy
Chick Flick: Joy Luck Club
Guy Flick: Desperado (which I guess could be in mob/gangs category), Lethal Weapon 2
Crappiest movie ever made: Monster A-Go-Go. So bad even MST3K couldn't make it entertaining.
Foreign: City of Lost Children, Amelie, Audition, Life Is Beautiful
Children flicks: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Spy Kids
Documentary: Cane Toads
War: Red Dawn
Strangest Movie You Can Think Of: Forbidden Zone (when looking up the name of this, I found that a sequel is in production).

I just saw the uncut version for the first time last night. I was waiting for someone to poo onscreen so that we would have the full trifecta of excretions/secretions.Montresor wrote: Family - Caligula
I guess it does involve a family...
Damn...I meant to put in comic book movie as well.
Superhero/comic - Watchmen, Mystery Men
Disturbing flick - Caligula, Audition...hell...any Miike movie I have watched pretty much can be on this list. For that matter, any Cronenberg flick as well, but especially Dead Ringers.

Okay. I'll admit to have changed my original opinion of the film which I believe I said was disturbing, confusing and disappointing.danlo wrote:Sci Fi: Event Horizon
I recently re watched it and found it to be much better than I remembered. It will never find its way on my favorite of all time list but it's not bad. I think now my biggest gripe is that Sam Neil's performance, particularly when he is fully "possessed"
