The Aesir rules talk about how Aesir should never interfere with Pantheon running as quickly as Xar can run it. They never said that *YOU* get a break from both deadlines.

true dat.
And I have had no problem in the past on the occasions when both have run pretty close together.

My apology was more in line with the fact that the Aesir deadline was totally driven out of my mind with the release of the Pantheon results, rather than for the lateness itself. But, I am sorry for having been late as well... Image

Now, if you'll excuse me, there is something I must research in Requiem...

Did you make yourself a custom "soft smile" smiley?

I don't even have the words...

That's either the craziest obsessiony thing I've ever seen, or a bold and jubilent shout that you're fully self-aware and have no regrets about anything.

No, I didn't create that one.
If I am recalling correctly, I think it is the "oops/blush" smiley from yahoo messenger.
But yeah, it's purpose is to help visualize my *soft smile* or to show some slight embarrassment.

One should not live with regrets.
Apologize for mistakes and attempt to rectify them, yes.
But, live with no regrets for being who one is.

Oh no, turn deadline! I completely forgot as well...

Well, I can hardly be blamed for not processing until now. But I have started processing. :D

That's right, SomeFather. As long as the turn results are to us by Nov 2nd, and the next submission deadline will be right when Xar gets his results back out... it's all good.

But... don't think I won't cut you if you're late.

I'm shooting for the weekend of Nov 7th-8th. Here's a few reasons why it's been going more slowly than we'd all like.

-Tracie has been online a lot recently. A couple of my free evenings this week were spent chatting with her on MSN. This is the only reason for which I don't apologize. Priorities, eh?

-I started Aesir to sorta alternate with Pantheon. When a Pantheon deadline is approaching, I'm gonna be working on that. (Acropolis doesn't help things here! Heh. And, of course, anyone who tries to kill me there will suffer horribly here, so...)

-The Yankees are in the World Series.

And here's a reason it might be even later than that.

-We finally got all the necessary approvals to close on the house we're trying to buy. It might be Thursday afternoon. Clearly, this won't help. LOL

So. I'll be able to do it a bit more now that Acropolis and Pantheon turns are done. Still other things in the way, but we'll get there.

...I just wish I had a frigging clue what I'm going to do in either of those games...

...at least one of Virelai's scribes is hard at work on her vision of the Acropolis.

I could probably take over for Mom if you want to bring me up to speed on what is going on with Lliannon. :)

WOOT!!!! :D :D :D I'll give Mom the good news, she'll be so happy to hear it, she asked us all to keep you and the house thing in our prayers the other day after you told her that you were still hitting snags with it. YAY!!!!

And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

I think this would be great, if Furls won't be up to it. But, you said she will have her laptop with her, and I suspect she'll have a lot of quiet recuperation time that she could devote to Lliannon, if she chooses to. Has she said she wanted to let Lliannon go for now while she fights this thing?

Well, Furl's play will be missed. Agapé even popped once into Stephen's thread to offer support.

But I look forward to seeing your own style come in to play with Lliannon. Let me know if you have something else in mind for her for an avatar if you want.

Oh, nice. He has no time to process turn results, but he has time to write up a summary for you that you can't use until he finishes the turn results.

You're just lucky my JTHM Head Explody powers have yet to manifest, Fist, that's all I'm saying.
