Zarathustra (or, the Watcher formerly known as Malik23)....scrupulously honest, solidly logical, clearly delineates subjective interpretation from objective fact, passionate without becoming pedantic or patronizing. Don't agree with him on much in the Tank, admitted.
EDIT--this thread in particular.....kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17849

I'd like to nominate ParanoiA. His posts are generally very informative, and his interpretation of the information very eye-opening and conducive to debate and discussion. It's hard to pinpoint his best post (particularly because I wasn't keeping track ) but I think the following captivates what I'm talking about:

The Audacity of Arrogance
Cail's thread. I think that debate captured the single most important political phenomenon of 2009--the year when the Sleeping Giant of conservative dissent woke up and little old ladies became protesters for the first time in their lives. This was something completely new in U.S. politics, and it (as well as the bewildering Democrat response) was the turning point when our massive ship of public policy course-corrected back toward the middle ground. A stunning turnaround, given the dramatic failures of the Bush administration, and the seemingly boundless hope represented by our first black president.

Joe Biden … putting the Dem in dementia since (at least) 2020.

Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion
I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.
