My Eldar army (slowly painting the force, as Eldar require a lot of effort):

Ill try and get things sorted in the next couple days. Right now, life is hectic as hell. Ever get that feeling like your juggling alot of things, and theres one or two things too many and its gonna bring the whole lot banging down? Yeah, things are like that, but Im squaring it away so shit will be sweet

so yeah, sorry for my slow post rate lately

The varnish on the gem stones works particularly well.

Slow posts are fine, which is why I've given until Monday. The next section will be a little different, and will revolve around multiple group or individual 'adventures', so I will have to be a bit draconian on post updates. I think a 72 hr limit is fine for everyone with real life to contend with.

I have allotted myself 2hrs per evening (plus however much time at work I feel I can get away with) for posting to Gravin Threndor. This should be sufficient, I think.

Wraithlord and Wave-serpent look badass, Lore. Nice detail on the tank.

That's above and beyond, though it definitely shows in the standard of your posts. Generally, I give running the game between 30 and 45 minutes a day. I'm a pretty fast writer, though.

Well, I'm in EVERY game on Gravin Threndor. (In hindsight, that might have been overextending myself.) And I'm running one of them. I don't expect 2hrs to be really necessary, except that I'm still working on character generation for the last couple players (one, really), so... it's taking a while. Should settle out shortly, though.

So, for some reason, as I'm reading Zarkov's posts, I'm sensing a similarity to "K-19: The Widowmaker".

I'm loving the interaction between Praetus and Garrius. Dramatic stuff, in a quiet way, but very crucial to the future for them both. Great posts to read too.

Andrea's corp-speak would phrase Garrius like this:
  • Agreement is when you actually hold the same opinion as your leader, and act in concert towards those goals. Alignment is when you act in concert with your leader, regardless of your opinion. Agreement is preferred, but alignment is required.
The real-life boss who told us all this... didn't really get the sarcasm when we'd tell him "I'm totally in alignment with you!"

Hahaha!

It's a scary world when people can tell their employees definitions like that to their face and not feel completely embarrassed by it.

I have finally uploaded the first schematic of the Invictus Aeterna on the forum. Please see the Invictus Aeterna thread for the details (first post). This was based off the first picture I did, with more detail . . . and both of course based off the Firestorm Frigate class from the setting.

Expect another schematic with areas marked in red to follow shortly.

Excellent job.

The Passage has now concluded. Please find your XP waiting in the final post. The next section will be Footfall, which I will begin tomorrow night. Once I get into the Footfall part, there will be the opportunity for players to take part in one of a few group or individual PC adventures. Because we'll all be relying on each other to keep everyone moving, I'll be loosely imposing a 72 hr deadline for replies. Of course, if you can't make those deadlines because of RL, that's ok, just let everyone know and we'll see what can be done.

Thanks to all the players for making The Passage such a joy for me to run and read.

Please note, I have edited all XP awarded in The Passage. I forgot to account for a final factor. Everyone went up by 150XP.

Great pic Montresor. I'm expecting images of your completed Battlefleet (and perhaps a fully painted scale model "Invictus" Firestorm) to follow. No hurry. Looks like Lores already got a head start. :P

In other news, I just bought my girlfriend the Chaos Rising expansion for Dawn of War II. Finally we see a Great Unclean One rollicking about in all its HD glory.

Was a bit disappointed they didn't allow for different Greater Daemons depending on your allegiance. The lack of Slaanesh in any shape or form is a bit of a blow as well (not in the campaign, but as a multiplayer option), but i suppose there would have been censorship issues .

You can embody units with the mark of Tzeentch, Khorne and sometimes Nurgle, so I was half hoping to see at least a Keeper of Secrets in there. Still, a very good game, Genestealer infested Space Hulks and warp tainted planets abound. And finally we see the Wraithguard, my personal favourite Eldar infantry unit, take to the field with their 'holy-crap-they-create-miniature-black-holes' portable D-cannons.
Druids gather at the circle of stones,
To worship the ancient ones.

In the glow of a dying red sun,
Their rites of evil have only just begun...

I'm guessing that Footfall is where we can (within game time constraints) spend XP and make acquisition rolls? ~800xp is enough to buy several things. Do we have the option of doing so? (I hate to think of the idea of earning XP faster than we have the chance to spend it.)

Let me know what you want now, and I'll let you know if it's feasible to have acquired it before Footfall. Otherwise, I see it as no problem to get what you want at Footfall.
