RIP Daniel Schorr
One of the greats. Recruited into CBS by Edward R Murrow himself in the '50s. Was on Nixon's enemies list; actually Schorr found out that the FBI was investigating him, so the Nixon White House came up with the story that Schorr was being considered for a sensitive government post (LOL. As if!) CBS benched him for leaking a story that they refused to run, so he went to NPR almost 40 years ago. Articulate, principled; all the things so rare in journalism today...
