An Ove Glove from my father-in-law, as well as a check to buy something for myself.
From my two guys the same as every year, nothing.
I'm the gift giver in the family...
So, I guess the joy of seeing their faces as they open their gifts is my present to myself.
...which frankly, I decided to pass on this year.

Except for a t-shirt with a Chinese dragon face that lights up via a battery pack that I gave Beorn one night, Hanukkah was the same this year.

Neither is about gift giving though, so it's all good, for what it is.

From Dam-sel:

A santaku chefs knife
A ball wisk
A book about Churchill & Roosevelt
A Jeopardy page-a-day calendar (traditional annual gift)

To Dam-sel:

A weekend for us away from Dam-et!
A divided baking pan (for brownies, cornbread, etc)
A cat-themed page-a-week appointment calendar (traditional annual gift)
A cat-themed monthly wall calendar (traditional annual gift)
Love prevails.

A novel, "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

The latest "Skulduggery Pleasant" novel (shared gift with my sister)

Towels, T-shirts and underwear (my sister thought these gifts boring. A couple of years ago I would have agreed with her. That was when I wasn't too poor to buy these things myself.)

Tracy Chapman's self titled album.

And...a ticket to the Big Day Out music festival to see, among others, TOOL!

For me, it was a Yule haul:

Michael's gift card and a set of Disney Princess coloring pages from Batty (she works in the toy department, can you tell?)
Promise of a necklace from Magickmaker
Knitting tote bag from Shara_Lunison (which she is still finishing)
Handmade soaps, a candle and candle holder, and several packets of spice blends from the book club gift exchange
Box of chocolates and a reeeeeeally nice Amazon gift card from my attorneys
Dark chocolate almond toffee from one of the other attorneys on our hall
Bunch of stuff I bought myself, wrapped, and stuck under the tree (pathetic, I know, but there you have it...) -- knitting gadget bag, stitch dictionary for knitted trims, calendars, etc.
Fudge from the ex and his wife (I did get this on Christmas Eve)

Got AATE by some unknown author by the name of Donaldson - don't know if I'll bother to read that though.
A bottle of Talisker whisky, all the way from the Isle of Skye, which I am sampling as I type.
Some clothes, as my wife doesn't trust me to pick my own and look like a fashion disaster.

I got my wife an iPhone4 - wish I'd kept it for myself - it's great.
