i read about the show when i was akid. have always wanted to see it. at 30 years now. never found it being repeated anywhere.
then saturday we were at Barnes & Noble to get the Bob Mould bio when Julie asked if i wanted to take advantage of their sale. (buy two dvds including box sets and get a third free.)
and i came across season one and two of Have Gun, Will Travel. man i had been waiting 30 years so i jumped at the chance.
the last season of Lost was the third dvd set. so i got season two of HGWT free.
I am hoping that i will enjoy the series. (and i hope that julie will too) everything i have read about it says that i will. plus we have floundered since losing Lost. Criminal Minds became our weekly show - but we have caught up with it.
so long story even longer, anyone a fan of HGWT? or has seen it. any thoughts are appreciated. thank you.

Paladin rocks!
Loved that show way back when--Wanted Dead or Alive with Steve McQueen, The Virginian, The Wild, Wild West and HGWT were my faves. Bonanza too cheesy and wasn't the same after Adam died (Hop Sing was my hero though), Maverick always got preempted by The Ed Sullivan Show. Could never get into Gunsmoke and couldn't stand Ronald Reagan's voice on Death Valley Days. The Rifleman was cool, but ruined by the kid (kind of like Wesley Crusher on STNG
) Conners' next show: Branded was awesome, unfortunately didn't last very long...oh and Gene Barry as Bat Masterson was a thing of beauty!
(oh and The Big Valley too, but that was more of a Linda Evans
thing, Barbara Stanwyck was one of the greastest actors of our times and did a great job--I thought Lee Majors was a wienie way before the 6 Trillion Dollar Hoser)

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
