Seven of nine players made it in time. I'll be chasing up the last two shortly.
So... I found some really interesting stuff on Wikipedia the other day. Turns out that my estimate of 1 Million living people in the year 1 AD was off, by a factor of 200 or so. Just because I eventually would like birth, death, and morality of the Firmament to impact the flow of Souls into Hell, I'd always assumed that I'd keep things on actual parity.
However, since I've already twice said "all the souls have been claimed" I can't really get away with adding in this many new Souls right off the bat. So... not yet sure what exactly I'll do to adjust this. Probably just quietly increase everybody's stuff by a factor of 200, and decrease what each Soul provides.
At first blush, it seems like that might disproportionately augment those players who focused on the early land grab. However, I'm guessing that those who didn't grab early will continue to be uninterested in grabbing now that they're divided into smaller pieces.
Also, if it's really a factor of 169, that's 13x13... close enough to the 200, and has a nice Infernal feel to it. (And Wikipedia actually had a range from 170Million to like 450Million, but the median was 200Million.)
Anyway, I'll process turns with the current scale, and then look at adjusting after that's done. So, feel free to pipe in with opinions in the mean time.

Okay, so... my deadline to return results was yesterday. Obviously, I missed that. I feel that I can juggle the two remaining papers this week and the rest of turn processing, and have results out by next Sunday evening.
Feb 12th, Midnight. (Turn 7 Results)
Feb 26th, Midnight. (Turn 8 Submissions)
Mar 11th, Midnight. (Turn 8 Results)
This is when I finish my last regular class with papers and whatnot due. After that, I have a single Capstone project due at the end of May.
It should be much more feasible to assume all of my weekends will have at least enough time to process turns, if I commit to two weeks from when you submitted them.
Thanks once again for your patience.
