can someone identify these for me?

I got a few of these when I was in Florida about 20 years ago. All I know is they are shells. They seem to have a channel running down them. I can't find them identified anywhere.

Those are parts of belemnite shells.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belemnitida

They are ancient fossils, though relatively not rare. They were often found and are still, and have a lot of interesting names in Russian, not sure about English though. I can tell you more if you're interested not only in identification.

Hard to say from the picture. My first thought was en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razor_shell but doesn't seem right.

I had some as a child, with my seashell collection. :) I always loved the way they felt, rough but smooth at the same time. Like sea glass, but warmer.
