An abusive pattern

Post by shadowbinding shoe »

They say women in abusive relationships tend to fall into other abusive relationships even if they managed to escape the previous one. Without arguing whether this is true or not, do you think She, following this pattern, is about to find her next abuser and if so who will it be? Foul is going down. After all the horrible comebacks he made throughout the story the heroes will make sure this time that his defeat is permanent. So who is left?

Kestenessen just wants to die and is too self centered to bother with her and hasn't got much left in him that's attractive. The fact that She hosts the soul of his betrayed lover probably doesn't help.

Roger is just a little boy with a borrowed fire-gun.

But what about Horrim Carabal? He stands out. He was promised salvation along with the rest of our band of heroes just like She was promised and he is an abuser through and through. Not only that he is powerful and beautiful in his own strange way. He has drunk the sap of She for millenia and now that the flow has dried he will go directly to the source of it: She.
