Actually, the Autarch had a very distant role in Acropolis, but none of yas came close to figuring it out.

Think I'll come up with a story of how the Autarch was sad one day, and started cutting on his arms. The blood ran freely, and that blood became the Great River of Sorrow, which flows from the Tree to the Ocean in the East.
