Tried to post this earlier and simply wasn't able to.
I'm starting an online game based the rpg designed from The Amber Chronicles by Roger Zelazny. Here is the URL if anyone might be interested... The Crimson Unicorn
Game proper will start up in the New Year.

Oy. I'm very interested! But not sure what it all means. Probably largely because it's been a long time since I read Amber. I remember why Corwin walked the Pattern the first time we watched, but I don't remember who else walked it, or why. Would I be able to play lacking such knowledge? Then there's all the questions that have already sprung to mind, just from reading the Attributes/Bidding.

If you haven't read Amber in awhile, methinks it a good idea to read at least one of the books before we start (Nine Princes in Amber is the first novel in the series). Best also to incorporate that into your character's back-story, a relative newcommer to The Eternal City.

Will add the supplement when I finish uploading it.

I'll sign up.
Fist, you know this is a table-top role playing game, right? Not to dissuade you from playing, but I know you're against those.
I was just thinking about the Amber novels the other day. Sad part is I couldn't remember the author's name for a little bit, but I was about to go get the whole series for the Kindle.

Hey Fist. I remember you were interested in playing this, until you figured out it was a first-person RPG.
Well, I was thinking of how you might possibly imagine it was a Pantheon-style game, and I think I came up with another option. Each player is the ruler of one of the Shadows of the Golden Circle. Maybe one lucky player gets to play Amber as well. And maybe a second group gets to play the noble houses of the Courts of Chaos.
Instant political intrigue, with a built in Sunrise / Sunset teamwork and enmity angle built right in.
And I nominate you to run it. You lucky bastard. Just about everybody else is already running a game, so it's your turn. And don't give me any of that "I'm not a GM." crap. Step up, buddy. And this way, you get a pre-made world (and an excuse to go back and re-read all the novels), you can fill with Zelazny's characters and factions and whatnot. Plus make up a bunch of your own, so we don't get all uppity.
