Did someone mention a MN group read? These are some of my favorite books of all time. :)

Ok I found it, its the c-word ... and its spoken by Adept Havelock JUST before Gilbur finds her in the room full of dead Imagers' mirrors.

It seems to me as if Havelock aquired a severe case of mental disorder and the swearing was just a sort of nervous reaction. But then I am never capable of judging profanity subjectively when it is in english anyway. :?

I do not think that there is not a lof of profanity in any SRD books, but certain characters do seem to use it a lot more, I think it is a character trait.

Yeah definitely Havelock went wonky with bad language ... but I was just commenting that before I regained MN, one of my few memories of the books was that instant! Funny how some things stick in one's mind.

yeah Havelock was strange .. yet appealing .. somehow ::shrugs::

and I think the Gap takes the cake for profanity! SRD really lets loose with that series!

but your right SRD is way tamer than some other authors I've read 8O .. and mostly I reckon when its not used for some artistic value .. its a waste of wordage!
