For those who have Krispy Kreme in the area:

Get thee hence and score a free original glazed doughnut when ye talk like a pirate today. If ye show up dressed like a pirate (in full garb, not just an eye patch), you'll score a free dozen original glazed doughnuts.

Make sure ye watch for the lit "Hot Donuts Now" sign. They're the best fresh off the conveyor!

I heard about this yesterday, which made me bemoan the fact that there are none near where I live, and had only limited time to be outside of the house. The fam are all going as pirates this year, and we had just gathered our costumes, for the most part. So...that sucks.
I've never gone as a pirate, and I found that I look right sexy as one.

Too late, I heard that Dunkin' Donuts was doing a similar promotion, although I heard it had to be full get-up for one doughnut.
