GRRRRRRRRM is an American writing like an Englishman, and SRD is an Englishman writing like an American?

Oh, so he is! It mentions so much Englishy stuff in some dust jacket or another.

Which button deletes this and gasses anyone who saw it?

Oddly enough, SRD and GRRM both live in New Mexico. :D

And SRD and GRRM both have very long breaks between books.

In fact, no one has ever seen SRD and GRRM in the same room.

OMG, you may be on to something... if Linden says something like "You know nothing, Thomas Covenant!" in this book, I will scream!

Oh, mygod! Is that why the third trilogy took 30 years to come out, he spent that time writing the Song of wind and water series?!!?!

I don't think SRD takes very long breaks between books, other than that one tiny little 30 year break, but I mean most of the others are released back-to-back yearly, aren't they?

On the other hand, until RIGHT NOW !&*@#($%()H%@(#Y#HEGINGHDDSAMNIT i've never had to wait on SRD releasing another book, as the TC series is older than me, and the gap series was long over by the time I knew it existed.

Even with the third series, I seriously just found out about it last month, and the last book is scheduled for october? That isn't a bad wait at all.

On the other hand, why did he suddenly decide to start doing cliffhangers with this last sagA!!12124512451!@#!@#$ Fatal Revenant was out, but it was also SOLD OUT everywhere, I had to go to like 9 book stores to find it. He's never done a damn cliffhanger before and he decides to do one with Runes of the earth!?@>#$> And then again with FR, and again with AATE?! PLUS IT'S NOT OUT YET?! Omfg i'm going to scream out loud, like the child I am typing as.
I know what an analogy is! It's like a thought...with another thought's hat on...?

The thing most people don't remember in regards to the Haruchai, is that you NEVER EVER play poker with them!

Maybe living in New Mexico does something weird to authors' brains. ;)
