The emphasis on the restoration(!) of this wound weirds me out a little. Usually these passages indicate that the wounded individual is returning to his or her physical state prior to translation to the Land. What if the Creator resurrects Covenant (again?), and as Linden carried Covenant in her heart at the end of WGW, Covenant will now have to carry Linden and the rest of the Land within himself as well (more than he already ever has)? Maybe Jeremiah will come back to life, too, so it'll be Covey and Jerry in the "real world" at the end of the story...
This would sure add a lot to the, "Everyone is ultimately a character in Covenant's mind," notion SRD has tossed out even at as late a date as that one controversial post in the GI about Landborn language skills, since it would make even Linden into such a person in a way.
Covenant's old head wound...

Head wound
Isn't it the same one that he received when he smacked his head against the coffee table talking to Joan in the beginning of The Illearth War right before he was translated?

Re: Head wound
Yes. It's then healed by the Lords, but reopened when Hile Troy hits him with Mhoram's staff.SkurjMaster wrote:Isn't it the same one that he received when he smacked his head against the coffee table talking to Joan in the beginning of The Illearth War right before he was translated?
