Thanks for being the first to open my then all too innocent eyes to social injustice.

that is so sad. As a teen I went to bed every night dreaming of meeting my own Billy Jack. He had a lot of health issues in the last few years. I read in one article last year that he was trying to do another Billy Jack movie. Glad it didn't come to fruition.Sequels mostly suck and the last two were awful.

I watched The Delinquents recently. Very kitschy movie.

Holy cow!!! I had no idea! I can quote a lot of Billy Jack. Trial was crap, and Goes to Washington wishes it was crap, but Billy Jack is fantastic. Damn.

I remember all me and my neighborhood kids liking these...especially quoted was the line about "I'm gonna put my right foot on the left side of your face, and there's nothing you can do about it" [roughly...don't mind any mistakes...what was I? like 10?]
I remember loving the "one tin soldier" song, too. I still think it's ok, if not great.

Minor heart-stopper, though...former director/acting prof. of mine is named Tom Laughlin...he's not that old, I freaked a little bit for a second after first glance at notifications on Facebook.

the difference between evidence and sources: whether they come from the horse's mouth or a horse's ass.
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

Well, I'm not saying my memory's perfect, but it's gonna be closer than yours! Hehe

"You know what I think I'm gonna do then? Just for the hell of it?"
"Tell me."
"I'm gonna take my right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face. [Points to Posner's right cheek.] And you wanna know something?"
"What."
"There's not a damned thing you're gonna be able to do about it."
"Really."
"Really. Ki-yai!" *whop*
[From the ground, where he was whopped.] "Kill that Indian son of a bitch."
