Thought I'd get this going.

I want to remind myself to mention Shaun das Shaf's current avatar (Shaun on the farm).

Just like to highlight this one while it's still up and running. We may have to come up with a new category to recognise it's off-the-wall, laugh-out-loud, quirkyness

Sarge's brilliant where do the turtles think the carrots come from?.

While I'm at it I might as well highlight this one as it's taken an interesting turn recently into the nature of consciousness and is tipping along at a nice pace just now :

peter's An existential problem.

This thread (so far, it's still going), Explosions at Boston Marathon, has captured a lot of the political concerns that seem to be up in the US at the moment.

(kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23813&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0)
by rbyrd2531 in the Last Dark forum, as a contender for Best Chrons-related thread (it's trés excellent and it's only just getting going  ).

[EDIT: to add spoiler tag. Thanks, Menolly.]

hmm...

I'm hoping the link will not work for those not signed up for the forum, as I don't want to delete the spotlight until the TLD forum is publically accessible.

Want to spotlight Cord Hurn for thread necromancy above and beyond the call of duty.

I'd like to draw attention to Zarathustra's thread: On Yoga and how it will all end

Sadly now lurking in the rarely visited depths of the AATE forum, it's both insightful, well-written and strikingly prescient, given that it was written a full six months or more before TLD appeared.

(Wayfriend also shows worrying psychic abilities in it too...)
Newsflash: the word "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron"

Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them
