They're trying hard to keep us out, but we're almost there. Yesterday both legs of the flight were canceled. After an hour on the phone, the flights were mysteriously un-canceled. Sans the seat assignments, so we ended up ten rows farther back. It took them half an hour to check me in because of a glitch in the system. Then the flight was delayed. Then it wasn't. Then it took off an hour late. No worries with the connecting flight in Dallas, tho - it is delayed 2 hours. Which will put us in just after the car rental place closes (and we're at the Doubletree downtown because we could get a free room with Hilton points). So. Quick cab ride when we land, and another at some point tomorrow morning to get the car. Assuming we actually take off tonite.
Still much better than three years ago - 8 hour delay in Chicago, which caused us to miss the picnic.
And nowhere near being stranded in Helsinki!
CU all soon!

We are at the KOA camp in Carlsbad. Saw the Caverns yesterday and the Texas Stonehenge on Wednesday. Visiting the Living Desert zoo here then heading to E-Fest. Woke Julie up with scrambled eggs and steak off the BBQ grill. Look forward to seeing you all later today.

I have $94 less in my checking account than I thought I did. Even looking at a printout of my transactions, I do not see where I am missing it. Off to the bank to figure this junk out. Seeings how I didn't really have the money to do this anyway, this probably won't work out for me after all. Unless the bank gives me back my money, and I don't think they will....

Johnny, I'll come pick you up at the airport. Way and DLB, do you have arrangements to be picked up or should I plan to get you both as well????
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....
