Tears Have No Color

Tears have no color
they are soul shown, and
souls are not white,
nor black,
nor visible
until they become
the color of tears.

I was heckled recently on Twitter for being white. Go figure... One of the hecklers (complete strangers, of course) kept talking about "white tears, white tears". That phrase went against my grain and this is my response.

Like tears, empathy is colourless and anyone who doesn't understand has a way to go in relation to empathy themselves.

and surprised that someone was that hateful, but I guess being anonymous helps people to show their true colors.
