Joy is the perfect candidate for this position, imo.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I third it, as she is trying to start a group read here...if she does not want it, then perhpas Ryzel would be a good choice. He is well respected long term member who is not a mod, and who posts here sometimes. I do not know if he has read the mysteries, but he seems familiar with the short story collections...

I would be willing to moderate for the Reed Stephens Etc. Forum, but please take into account that I have spells where I can't spend much time here. Best thing, I think, would be for me to join the existing moderators for this forum.

Aside from that, I qualify. I love Brew. Or have I said that before? :hnk:

Yeah... Joy is a very good choice... Though I still wouldn't mind being mod either... But Joy knows the books better than me... So it should be her...

How about posting to the existing ones? So far you are one of the relatively few who have read the first three books. Maybe an on-going discussion will attract more discussion. We wanted to try to give each of the four books its own thread.

Just a suggestion. ;)

I was in the middle of reading the first chapter when the email bell rang, but I had to stop and thank you, VS -- no matter whether that was a vote of confidence or eagerness to start the group read.
