What History book are you reading now?

Those who do not learn history are doomed to use this quote over and over again.

I tend to listen to audiobooks since I drive a lot and reading while driving is probably not a great plan.

What I'm listening to now is Making Rumours: The Inside Story of the Classic Fleetwood Mac Album written by Ken Caillat and Steve Stiefel.

What have I learned so far? Lindsay Buckingham is a dick and Mick Fleetwood is, apparently, one of the nicest guys on earth.

The catholic church is the largest pro-pedophillia group in the world, and every member of it is guilty of supporting the rape of children, the ensuing protection of the rapists, and the continuing suffering of the victims.

I'm currently reading Serving the Reich: the Struggle for the Soul of Physics Under Hitler, by Philip Ball.

I've been reading John Jules Norwich's three volume History of Byzantium. I'm on the third volume, which my local library had. I checked it out just before the shelter in place order. I also picked up there a history of the Borgia family by Ivan Cloulas.

There's a 2011 (3 season) series on the Borgias (call "The Borgias") that the GF quite enjoyed, with Jeremy Irons as the Borgia Pope. :D
