*** Out of Character ***

Watch brothers and sisters ... Pantheon Players. My apologies ... I checked with Xar about growing my followers and found I goofed!

SH*T!! Sorry ... missed that ... how do you propose I reconcile? I explicity placed events at the northern tip of the desert.
.....
You could just assume there are smaller stretches of desert in the original continents. In particular, read Mithyaat Vam's introduction - I think her characters hailed from a desert in Landir.
I've edited the backstory to put my characters in a Landir desert. Friends, let me know if I've goofed again before I submit my turn information! [Of course I know those of you who are there can more easily attack ... but that's the fun! :P]

*** in characters ***

Godlings beware!! CHAOS and DESTRUCTION are closer than you think!!

*** out again ***

;) ;)

Look at note from XAR ... he suggests small stretches of desert may have gone unnoticed!!

Jove, regarding your request to other gods in the Game Thread, about the island west of Limithra... please remember that that island is NOT close to Magran, but is indeed at the opposite end of the world: Eiran isn't a globe, but it is surrounded by the Mists That Encircle the World.

I'm sure that way back in the beginning of Pantheon Xar told me there was a desert on Landir, towards the east central. Back then I thought some fierce desert tribes might appreciate the help of the God of Water! But it turns out they were wimps who sat around telling stories all night !

Edit: then again, it may have been a dream!

Funny how the only pieces of Pantheon writing I can come up with are the ones that feature Or. I'm no good at all at dialogue, so it's odd I should keep coming back to his conversations as the focus of this stuff. I'm a little worried that I won't do justice to the form--how does one successfully portray such a powerful intelligence?

Edit: Double post in the thread now. That one's on my other favourite subject, heh, which I was woring through this time to help decide what the reaction should be to certain recent events.

I have no doubt you will continue to do a great job with it all! I'm grateful for such efforts. I don't seem to have any of this stuff in me. I put tons of time into this game, but it all goes to planning and communicating.
I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.

Who would have thought that this game of great and powerful gods would come down to jokes about le petit mort?

Just as a reminder - if at all possible, please remember to send in your moves as emails rather than using a PM. Not only does it make it easier for me to read them and reference them when processing the turn, it's also good because I can archive them (and, frankly, because this way I only have to check one source rather than two ;) ).

For those who don't know, or didn't see it, the email address to which to send your moves is pantheon(DOT)allfather(AT)gmail(DOT)com.

and, just to clarify on the desert thing and landir and address xar's comment about where my character came from...

when i first started writing the character, i wanted her to be from a desert but didn't see any visible or indicated on the map.

Murah came from a desert but she doesn't know where. i didn't get any info on deserts from any of the players i asked and a couple even told me to create a desert somewhere but the land all looked occupied so i gave Murah AMNESIA!! the Kortralians found her wandering around on Kortral and no one really knows, including Murah, how she got there yet.

when the desert appeared on ammeril (is it Ammeril or Immeril?)
i determined that i could construct the storyline having her come from there. thus, i have taken the island due west of the ammerlian desert for my new city Dusk.
...and on the last day we feasted, like carrion, on her dreams.

Kasta's penchant for chaos looks very insignificant in comparison to the ultimate chaos of a goddess's PMS!

Also, what's with the 1,2,3,4 demands? Very organised if you ask me!
