One more thing; what date can we check your blog to see what you asked and the answers you got? I MUST read it. SRD is number one. Period.

A Gunslinger wrote:Here's a quick Q:

At the beginning of the 2nd Chronicles, Joan could only soothed by drinking Covenant's blood. Meanwhile, the denizens of the Land had to shed blood to the earth in order to survive the sunbane in the absence of earth lore. In the 3rd chronicles, we discover that the Caesures seem to be caused by Joan striking herself in the temple.

In both cases, it seems that Joan and the land are intimately linked..almost as though the land itself is a metaphor for the health of Joan.

Will this link be explainined further, and can Linden heal Joan and therefore the land?
Holy Cow, that's a HUGE question, and I doubt you'll get an answer, Guns (although I want this answer myself - see my recent question in the GI about Joan.)

Heh...

Guns had the triangle in the last Harry Potter book pegged as a theory since the release of the sixth book. If he thinks this is a possibility, I'll put my money on his intuition...

The questions will be forwarded to Donaldson's publicist next week. When he'll get back to me with the answers, I have no idea.

But no worries, for I'll let you all know when the interview goes live! :D

Hi there,

I just posted my Q&A with Donaldson on the blog. The author wasn't as loquacious as I would have liked and he dodged a couple of questions, but all in all it's an interesting read! :D

Check it out! ;)

And the interview leads with the cover of Lord Foul's Bane rather than the cover of Fatal Revenant?!?!?!?!

Stone and Sea!!! My question didn't get asked!!! Ah, my heart!! But it was a wicked cool interview, Patrick. Thanks for sharing this with us obsessed souls. We yearn for every scrap we can get. I hope Amazon isn't backed up with orders to ship; they said they shipped on the 7th my copy of FR. I"m all a-flitter.
