Promoting a sport match on the White House grounds is as unprecedented as promoting a commercial brand of vehicles from the driveway of those grounds. The latter has occurred...but that association seems rather more strained now than at the time of the event.

Apart from that, I am not entirely sure a pugilistic event is quite the appropriate commemoration for the occasion of the nation's 250th anniversary.
