I wanted her hair. She could keep Eddie Van Halen, tho. (Altho I guess she's kicked him to the curb...)

Yeah, I agree. Bernadette Peters, too. You might find this funny, seeing as I was a teenager in the late 70's, but I wasn't into Farrah Fawcett at all.

Agreed. Farrah's co-stars were both more to my taste.

Valerie? Yeah, I suppose, but I never really looked at her that way. My mom knew her mom somehow (had a hairdresser in common or something, IIRC) and I guess it was all just a little too close for me think about...in the mindset I was in back then.

I was just telling my daughter last night about a memory that surfaced of a Charlie's Angels episode. Farrah Fawcett was undercover as a waitress. Some guy came on to her and gave her his room key. She obviously didn't want it but took it to be diplomatic. He said, "Leave the light off, to make it more of a surprise." A few minutes later, another guy starts coming on to her. She still has the key in her hand (the skimpy waitress outfit had nowhere to put it) so she smiles and hands him the key and says, "Come on up later, and leave the light off, to make it more of a surprise."

I'm guessing you're referring to the Angels, to which I'd like to add the 'other' girl in Logan's Run, Jenny Agutter....she was gorgeous.

I agree on both Bernadette Peters and Farrah Fawcett. I can also add Suzanne Somers along with Farrah.

Ok, I'll admit it.

My great (not so) secret crush in the '70s was none of the above. Karen Carpenter. That. Is. All.

My dad was into her; I thought she was pretty, but I remember her having bad teeth, so I'm gonna agree with you.

I'd like to add Jane Seymour to the gorgeous list. Seeing her in 'Live and Let Die' had a profound effect on me as a young lad.

I liked Farrah in the day, but now I wonder why. Somehow I obtained the classic poster, but never really watched Charlie's Angels. And I never got the Suzanne Sommers thing. I never really thought much of Valerie Bertnernie either until years later. For me, my celebrity crush was Laurette Spang from the original Battlestar Galactica.

I don't understand why they didn't include her in the new series, unless I missed it. Of course, with a female Starbuck, I guess they thought she wasn't necessary.
