The Amnioni are obviously more intelligent than us... and cannot lie... intuition isn't something they have.

That's not completely true, Darth. Remeber that those Amnioni who retain vestiges of thier humanity can and do use intuition. Marc Vestabule did this very thing in TDAGD, intercepting Morn and company before they reached Earth... It could be argued that Milos had this same ability, but I believe it was Marc's fear reaction that protected some flash of his humanity, for that reason Warden's

Mind you, one uses fear as a defense mechanism, the other removes all fear, but to similar effect.
