8O You are a good person, Lyr. Hopefully the amoxicillin kicked in eventually....
She's my goddaughter, so I was happy to help out. But yeah. . . it was definitely a bit of work! I was totally exhausted when I came home!

My most interesting activity today has been having people come over and view my apartment. I guess they are going to take it over when we leave. I know that I want to leave, but still it's odd.

Well, this is yesterday's interesting active, but maybe I can get a little leeway. ;)

A few days ago, there was a general casting call in our area for Deal or No Deal (a TV game show). My wife, along with 5000 other people went. Yesterday, she got a call back to come back for a further video taped interview. It turns out that about 200 other people did as well. On the show, there's some interaction with family members or supporting friends who are on stage as well, so my wife and I, as well as her sister and parents went to this new interview session last night. She had a one on one video taped interview with a casting director, then the group of us played through a shortened, mock version of the game while we were taped.

It was a lot of fun, though we did have to wait quite a while. Today, my wife's a little bummed, because she's second guessing a lot of what she said in the interview. Of course, I think she did great. (Though I recognize, there may be just a tinsy bit of bias there ;) )

And now we wait. They are taking all of their casting tapes back to L.A., then running them past the producers of the show. So if they decide to use her, we'd hear back anywhere from June to November, and then go out to be on the show.

Not a huge chance it'll happen, but it was still a fun experience. Plus, I'm real proud of my honey.

While I was gone to the dentist my cat finally had her kittens, I was expecting there to be more of them, but she had 3 and they are all just beautiful. I will post pictures of them in a few days when Momma and babies are out and about a little more.
Has anyone seen my keys?

I bought a new fiction novel by an author I've never read. . . that is a rare occurrence for me. And I bought an art book that I really wanted, but probably should have waited on. :P

Listening to a passive aggressive bitch who is going to be marrying my best friend. Seriously considering speaking out at the wedding, as it will hurt all the more coming from the best man.

Well, if you want to burn that bridge and possibly that friendship, I'd say go for it. But speaking from personal experience, people who are in relationships do not tend to want advice from those not in the relationship. But if you feel the need to warn your friend is extreme, then perhaps you should do so now? I guess it all boils down to what your motivation is right now. Good luck.

If I had a nickel for every time he said, "She makes my life miserable," or, "I cannot stand her," I would probably have enough to pay for the rest of my college and post-college education by now. The only reason they are together is their child. The last reason you should marry or stay in a marriage is because of children.

I can't say I disagree, but it is his decision to make--no matter how clearly you can see the outcome.

He's my best friend. I would be doing him a disservice if I didn't say something.

Then I suggest that you say something now, rather than later at the wedding.

I'm trying to manage a time where she can be out of our collective hair long enough for us to have a serious conversation.
