I cannot see the reasoning in calling me a fool any longer. He has blatantly declared an attack on Maeror which he thinks will be powerfull enough to destroy him, although I know Maeror's hidden power better than most and now he is saying the same to me.

There is no possible potentiality of such ever happening. The Song is pure. As pure as I could make it. It will do nothing before there is any chance of it being twisted.

I still regret not insisting on the word justifiable being inserted before the word cause. But I think the explanation of vexation could be called into question as a cause easily enough, even without needing justification.

We still know too little about Nephirthos for us to know if sealing the Chatus portal will have such an effect. All of our energies should be focused on learning more about him and how he can do what he does, not on destroying each other. I hope Norn's action does seal him from his source of power, but I suspect that is too obvious a possibility for it to be the case.

Yet, I am grateful for the portal in my lands being sealed. Should Norn's attempt succeed.
